Yes, but it’s really important that you contact us in advance to give your child the best chance of success, allowing them to prepare.
Parents’ evenings are often the best way to work out if your child is struggling at school. It’s also worth talking to them about their homework and finding out what they find most difficult.
Because all of our students do. We’re yet to meet a child that we can’t help, and we’re committed to working with every single one of our students to boost their confidence, iron out their difficulties and help them reach their potential.
Every child is different, so it’s important they come in for a free assessment so we can come up with a plan and targets for them to work towards. There is no contract or obligation to attend for a long period of time, but as with most things, the more you do it, the bigger the effect.
We’ve taught children with ADHD, Aspergers, Dyslexia, Autism, physical disabilities and others in the past. But it’s very important you get in touch and set up an interview and assessment with us so we can establish whether we’ve got the right tutor for them. We want to offer the best for your child, so this is a very important process, but we’re always willing to go the extra mile regardless of any disabilities. Please call for more details.
No. All of our tutoring is done in our centre. We’ve created an ideal, distraction-free learning environment and invested heavily in state-of-the-art equipment to aid our students’ learning – we can’t easily recreate that in a home.
60 minutes. The lessons are broken up into bitesize chunks to give your child the best chance of retaining information and less chance of getting bored.
Monday – Thursday: 3:40pm – 4:40pm, 4:50pm – 5:50pm and 6:00pm – 7:00pm
Yes. Homework is an essential part of the service we provide at the Yes Education in order for progress to be maintained. We are aware of other homework from school, so we only set a limit of around half an hour’s work each week. If you have difficulty getting your child to complete the homework, please speak to us.
Inform your child’s schoolteacher they’re attending extra tuition so you can be kept in the loop with any improvements and areas that need attention outside of school hours. We are more than happy to liaise with your child’s teachers so that we can help in the best way possible. With homework, ensure you set a distraction-free environment for your child to learn in.
